New Life.

I was delighted to capture this Monarch butterfly just after it had emerged from the chrysalis.

Shag Point, NZ.

I really like the colours in this shot. Shag Point is in the lower South Island, and is a seal and shag (the bird with wings type...) colony.

What Am I?

I am droplets of dew on a spiders' web from a thick mist we had this morning. The dark shadow on top is the reflection from the leaves of the tree it was in.
