I found these fungi lurking on the wet tree stumps along the boundary.

....... from a long way away ..... I had to use the zoom to the max (18x). They're such shy, beautiful birds. I'll be working on getting a closer, better shot.

Another Old Barn.

This is a lovely old barn on the main highway north, one of our many cold misty mornings.

The Last Leaves.

There aren't many leaves left on the Liquid Amber tree at the moment, and it sounds like the remainder will be blown off over the weekend with the foul weather that's forecasted. The little bit of blue sky in the background was the first seen in over a week, man I hate winter!!

This is not a fruit I enjoy at all, it has a tart taste and leaves your teeth all furry, yuk, and we have a huge tree in the garden. As you can see it's wet, and the leaves have gone a bit mouldy, due to over a week of rain and cold southerly winds ........
