?Whistling Kite.

I've packed my bird book and the pics on the net of the Whistling Kites didn't have the yellow eye. This is another shot from our verandah looking into the yard next door ..... fortunately there's only an historic house and some machinery living there.

Flower Inner.

This place needed a wee bit of colour. I still haven't had many opportunities to take many pis just lately.

How's This ....

....... for a colourful beetle. I have no idea what it's called, but it was quite comfortable on the cucumber plant.

I haven't seen a pair together before in the trees around here, they're usually on their own or in a larger group.

Young Currawong.

These fellas have now taken to sitting on the verandah rail waiting for their bread allowance. I never thought birds could be so interesting or entertaining.

Sausage Lunch.

We feel extremely privileged to have these guys hanging around and eating the left over sausages.

My Computer Has Died...

Sadly my month old laptop died over the week end and is away being repaired. Hopefully it will be fixed and make it on Fridays plane, fingers crossed!
