I've had to use a reasonable amount of zoom and directly into full sun, to capture this.

I think Doves are idiots, and they have quite evil looking eyes.

I've finally managed to get a reasonable shot of these parrots, through the fence railings.

Indian Ringneck Parrot.

We sent a few emails to various organisations to find out what this is.

Psittacular krameri is the official title. Although it's natural colour is green there are a number of mutations. This pair may have escaped from an aviary. (and I've had to stretch the telephoto lens a wee bit.)

This fella and his mate had just returned from an unsuccessful pig hunting trip.

We're finally getting these parrots to come down for the bird seed.

There was a freezing wind here and we were a behind fence, so I couldn't get all of the road in.

Things I See ....

Cemetery.

This is a huge place, all the graves are segregated by religion, some dating back to the 1800s. It appeared that the Chinese had their own section.

Bush Living ......

We were blown away and delighted to see this 7 yr old kid driving the tractor ....... love the bush!!

Abandoned Railway Station.

Unfortunately it was an overcast afternoon, but I couldn't resist capturing this old building.

This fella was eager to get going again, despite having spent the morning out working.
