 We're having 41 to 43°C days at present and my camera doesn't seem to want to work, so it will be very light on photos for a few days.

Outback Shed.

This is way out west in Queensland, quite close to the Simpson Desert.

Foal.

This foal is only 8 weeks old, and I reckon it's going to be a beautiful horse. Not that I know anything about horses, they scare me, and I've had virtually nothing to do with them all my life.

An overcast morning from The Great Dividing Range, after our first lot of rain in months.

Common Australian Crow.

This is one of the many varieties of butterflies we have around at present, and the only one that has stayed still long enough to capture.

The Other Cat.

This one is not as photogenic as the other feral cat, but it does have a nicer personality.

A Bee.

This is one of those bees that tend to hover and fly at right angles.

There is a lot of dust in the air at present, thanks to the wind and no rain for many weeks.

This is looking over our front fence as the sun went down, unfortunately the kids on trail bikes didn't show up.

Frog Season.

I'm so delighted to be living in an area where these frogs live. They were out and about last night since we had our first thunder and lightning this season.

High Rise Living.

I liked the colours and shapes of these buildings with the sun on it in the morning.

Cooling Off.

It was 38° C with no wind, even the Hawks needed to cool off.

Rainbow Bee- Eater.

These birds have such beautiful colours in the light, unfortunately the sun was too far down when we came across them.

The sun was directly behind, hence the pale background, which I quite like.

Bath Time.

This Honeyeater is an unknowing guinea pig for me trying out the different settings on my new camera.

These delightful little birds are a great source of exercise for the photographer, you need to have great eye sight, be quick at spotting, focusing and hitting the button to capture them!!
