It's amazing this river still has some water in it, all the storms are bypassing us at present and we desperately need rain around here.

The bush fires around are contributing to the beautiful colours.

Cambridge Ruins.

Built around 1865, it was an homestead and later became a Post Office and general store,  a replica has been built in the town.

The Lookout.

We drove through here a couple of days ago and it was well alight, as you can see there is still some burning.

This is what the sun looks like in this neck of the woods.

This was last nights' sunset driving home through an area that was alight when we had driven through a couple of days prior. The red disc at the bottom of the pic is the sun.

The setting sun certainly brings out the beautiful colours of the hawk.

These lizards are there one second and gone the next!

This sort of thing makes driving to your favourite fishing spot interesting!

I'm not sure what it is about these trees that I like, maybe the contrasting colours with the stormy sky, their interesting trunks or their shape + size .......

Little Corellas.

These fells always hang around the stockyards here, and they looked pretty good with the storm clouds behind them.
