Parrots.

It's very rare to see any parrots around these parts, so it was a treat to see these ones, and we were about 80m away so we didn't scare them off.

Yum, Breakfast.

We had to stop and wait for this eagle to select what he wanted for breakfast this morning. I was surprised at how unhurried he was as we were only about 70m away.

Galah Mates.

Galah's are very affectionate, they love touching and it's lovely to watch them.

This is unusual to see them out during the heat of the day.

The pelican has a fish in it's bill which is why it's out of shape.

They're not really handsome.

These are on the north Queensland coast, and they're on stilts as they regularly get flooded in the wet season and on a high tide.

Pelican Take Off.

Such large cumbersome birds when they're flying.

Grey Butcherbird.

This is a young one since it has some brown feathers, and they also have a beautiful birdsong.

Even More Corellas.

It's interesting to see another species of bird leading the big flocks of Corellas on their screeching, frantic flights.

River Bed.

Every creek and river is looking this way since we had no wet season this year!
