It's very rare to see young Jess resting, but she was just back from having been to the river for a swim.

Baby Hedgehog.

It was a worry to find this fella out in bright sunshine, so it was put back into a bush after it had a bite to eat and then it bit the hand that fed it!

Ginger Kitten.

This little fella spent a long time sleeping, but have a feeling he will make up for that time as he gets older.

Mad Kitten.

I noticed this kitten at a friend's place chasing flies and managed to capture one shot where it was still for a moment.

Dam Reflection.

It is interesting to see how much wildlife hangs around these places and I always wonder how many eels are lurking.

Large Moth.

I'm surprised to see such a large moth in these parts, and it does look as if it's had a bit of a rough time.

Wow, What Is that?

Love the way the kitten is checking the sheep out.

A Fly.

They are around the farm in great numbers now the weather has warmed up.

Tabby Kitten.

This kitten is so cute, but too busy to be cuddled.

Rooster.

Such a fine looking young rooster with 10 chickens to his name already.

This youngster was thankful for the cat sausage in this weather.

Misty Hills.

It was a miserable day, but lovely to see the silhouetted hills.

It was lovely to see we have these birds visiting us at present,it’s a couple of years since we’ve had them around.

10 Year Anniversary.

Quite amazing I started this site 10 years ago and I’m still going, although slowly at present. I do hope things will pick up again shortly when I can get out and about a bit more.

The Neighbour’s Cat.

I was about 50m away watching the cat sneak through the fence to drink out of the neighbours fish tank.

Broom Flowers.

These are very beautiful flowers when you see them up close.

It’s a busy scary life being new to the world.

It’s lovely to see all the bare trees spring into life.

This one was protecting one of the youngsters who had recently left the nest.

This one was waiting for us to disappear so he could have a sleep after being fed.

Three Youngsters.

It’s amazing how quickly they grow and how they all manage to squeeze into the nest peacefully.

Seed Pod.

I was fascinated and impressed watching this swan plant seed pod open and see how the seeds were dispersed. Nature is such a wonderful thing.

The Tree.

Is starting to get it’s leaves, and I like how the rain gives the hills a silhouette look.

Magpie Lunch.

They certainly need a lot of food.

 I have set up the tripod on the back step and found I have a great view of the magpie nest which is about 45m away

Well Fed.

These two had just been fed and were too tired to even lift their damp shiny heads.

The inside makes an interesting abstract.

The hills are frequently changing with the light on them.

The only nice thing about today, the rest has been wet, windy and cold.

This is one of the largest ones I have seen, and much nicer than the more common variety.

he lambs are so very cute and entertaining at this age.

This one has a very determined look on its face. It’s amazing how quickly they are mobile and how far their mums take them

 I managed to catch the lamb mid yawn while it was sunning itself.

I was about 20m away and photographing through an open window, they are very shy birds and not that many around here.
