I have spent a lot of time being entertained by these beautiful birds, and taken many, many photos of them.

This was a common sight around rivers and dams as at this stage the drought was in it's third year.

These areas are over flowing with people traveling in the cooler months.

I was on the 9th floor looking down on a very familiar sight .... enjoying their phones not their surroundings.

It's always interesting driving in the wet season coming across these, especially when you have no idea how deep, how fast the water is running, or if there are any crocodiles lurking.

Such beautiful elegant birds, even in flight.

More Tropical Rain.

The kids love playing in the rain, mainly it gives some relief from the hot humid weather.

This did look amazing with the dark sky.

Cane Fire 2.

It doesn't take long to take off, and it is all over fairly quickly.
