W.A Sunset.

A view from our motel in a place called Kunanarra in Western Australia. Just after this was taken, the sky turned black with thousands of bats on their nightly raid.

Absolutely beautiful. May I ask what kind of camera you use?

Okay... like as soon as I got done posting that, I saw the About section in your sidebar and felt dumb. Keep up the good work!

Thank you w.e for your kind comment.
All my Australian photos were taken with a Fujifinepix 5000, a great digital camera. I have only been using the Canon for about a month now, and am loving it. P

How long have you been into photography?

I have been interested in photography off and on over the years, but have become more serious in the last year, since I got my first digital camera.
Are you interested in photography?
Pam

I'm interested in all media. I guess we're alike in that photography is something I've always thought I'd enjoy, but I've never had the cash to spare for a good camera. It'll probably have to wait until college is over for me.

Sorry to take so long to reply w.e, I've been working some unsociable shifts!
It's a shame you have to wait until the end of college to get a camera, there must be some good second hand cameras around begging for a new home! There are alot of new cameras coming out now, maybe the price will drop on some of the older models..... Pam

It's true. We'll see. In the meantime, getting a better amp for my guitar is higher up on the priority list. When you have so many interests, you gotta make choices, sigh.

Oh, I see, lol. What sort of music do you play? P.

Mostly progressive rock. Three other guys who go here to Belmont University in Nashville and myself are presently working on getting a band together. We want to create a unique little sub-genre: Christian, shock rock, progressive, folk metal. We want to combine the progressive elements of musical complexity and an orchestral sound with folk elements, using metal as the foundation to hold it all together. Then we want the lyrics to be pretty deep and totally un-PC (because the truth is). I'm all down with loving Jesus and everything, but most Christian music these days is pretty lame. I love Jesus, but he's not my girlfriend, ya know?

In other words muscular Christian rock?

Oh yeah.
