I'm not sure how much time I've wasted watching the wood burn in the fire! I find the flames and the patterns they make intriguing. This was from last nights fire through the glass and a hand held shot.

Fire is mesmerizing. It's like new born babies, we sit and stare, not knowing why we are so entranced.

jm, I think fires and babies have a warmth, a sense of amazement, something so beautiful, innocent, and not really affected by all the bullshit.
