Gecko the best way to deal with this type of pest is to wait for sundown when they are 'quiet' and let them have it with a suitable flame producer like a wad of newspaper, which you just put under the lot while alight and kill them all.
Spraying them will only stir them up because you don't kill them immediately.
I haven't had much time to go on a killing spree, BUT, they will have to go! I'm the only RN for 3 to 500 people at present and I'm a tad tired. KG suggests diesel and a propane torch ........
Hi there,
It's fun checking out the garden to see what wild life is lurking, the scenery on my travels, or simply the weather.
I am using a Canon EOS 1000D digital camera.

I think you'll find those little critters are a very nasty wasp. Don't EVER get stung by one of these!
Checked all your pics. They're great, especially the lightning!
Oh, thanks for that info Nemesis, reckon I'll change my smoko spot:)
Thanks also for the compliment on my pics :):)
You're more than welcome Gecko. Funny, but after having logged off yesterday I went outside because I could hear all this buzzing.
Guess what I found! Some of those little critters trying to make a nest under the front verandah!
There was a whole swarm of them!
WAS, being the operative word!
That reminds me I must find a can of insect killing stuff, and deal with them tomorrow .....

Holy Dooly! Just don't excite the little buggers and don't give them an even chance!
