I envy you, being able to hang the laundry out - right now, we HAVE to use a dryer {clothes lines aren't permitted in our "community"}, but even when we live where it's 'allowed', it's SO humid SO MUCH of the year that clothes are wetter when you bring them in than when you hung them out ..................
Gecko, you'd have to experience Houston humidity to understand {which you will, since y'all decided on a 'summertime trip' up here} - we're adjacent to/part of the Big Thicket swamp - Houston's known as "the Bayou city" {and here YOU thought that applied to New Orleans! ;-) } - when summer is in full force {about 8.5-9 months of the year}, you walk outside & it's like getting slapped with a wet towel across your face - just sitting outside, sweat will roll off you .................... you'll see - why do you think I want to move to NW Colorado/Western Wyoming/SW Montana/Eastern Idaho? ;-) ;-)
Thank you Karen + Kirly, they're great company and have such different personalities, great fun! Thanks for that DM, it was a bit like that living in the Northern Territory in Australia during the wet season. Do you think you'll move sometime soon?
Hi there,
It's fun checking out the garden to see what wild life is lurking, the scenery on my travels, or simply the weather.
I am using a Canon EOS 1000D digital camera.

Hey DM, good to see you :)
Sounds a bit weird about not hanging washing out on the line, for what reason other than the humidity ?
