Corellas tend to come out in huge numbers when there's a storm around and they're very noisy, but seem to love swinging from power lines + trees. They're fun to watch, and they were about 50m away when I took this.

Why Did The Emu Cross The Road?

Because they're idiots! This one waited until we were up close and we were traveling at 110kph ....... lucky lad! The poles look distorted due to heat haze, it was close to 40°C.
