I think with this one the focus is possibly more on the twig, but it was a windy day (again) and I don't use a tripod for my close ups. At least you can make out the dragonfly!

I‘ve never seen pictures of New Zealand Insects before and it is interesting just how different they are from Aussie ones. I like dragonflies as well and have many happy memories of floating on a tire inner tube in the dam and watching the beautiful blue one we get around here flitting between the reeds... As Arnie says "I will be back" :
