Quick and very protective, i remember a while ago, i was out in the car and this family of ducks were trotting by. We slowed down and i rolled the window down to have a good luck, one parent instantly upped the pace of the young ones and the other one made a move towards me like it was saying, what are you looking at punk!
I've only seen one adult with these ducklings, and it's a shame the grass is just a bit too long to get a good look at them. Will have to get the farmer to put more stock in there to "mow" it.
