This is on the way to Palmerston North, where we had to stop for a few minutes, while one of our hard working, crime fighting Police Officers pulled us over for doing 13k over the limit, on an open highway and no other traffic!!!
This appears to be a lovely tranquil spot, until you see the wind turbines in the background, noisy, ugly things these are!

Lol, think it was a bit early in the day to have reached his quota! Besides, the driver didn't have an NZ licence, so they weren't about to get lippy :)
I have heard of people having to move out and leave in areas where those wind mills are.
I must remember that- move to an area with windmills for cheap housing!
I get more deaf every year, so it wouldn't be a bother to me!
OB, you'd have to be stone deaf not to hear the noise!
