This beautiful Papillio Ulysses (Blue Emperor or Blue Mountain Swallowtail), finally stopped long enough for me to photograph, it's been taunting me for weeks!!
A pic of downtown Coen from our back doorstep as the storm cell approached. We've had very little rain over the last week, but it looks like my first time off in ten days are going to be wet ones .....
This was found lurking up near the Archer River a couple of weeks ago. I'm not getting much of a chance to get out + about at present as I'm the only RN for 3 to 500 people. There has been a spot of bother with my holiday relief nurse....... they're flying in a nurse every 7 t0 8 days to give me 2 days off and a break from being on call ....... and to have a much needed beer!!!!!
How exciting!!!!! I've never managed to capture lightning before ....... but ...... I won't be divulging how many shots it took me to capture this ......
This is a hand held shot, as I hadn't set up the tripod.
Hi there,
It's fun checking out the garden to see what wild life is lurking, the scenery on my travels, or simply the weather.
I am using a Canon EOS 1000D digital camera.
