Galahs are some of the happiest birds around and I can waste a lot of time just watching them.

That photo brings back some very happy memories from my childhood. I grew up not far from Geraldton in WA on a wheat farm and we had lot's of rescued galahs and cockatoos to raise as kids. Even the odd wedgetail eagle. Ah Those were the days.

Destructive little so-and-so's, but they're very endearing.
