That is a rare shot. Usually birds assidiously wipe their beaks after they eat something messy like a worm.
I think I disturbed that process cube, he landed on the post quite close to where I was standing, and I couldn't resist taking a photo ;)

I did thank you jm. I just need to wake up a bit more before I reply, I worked until late last night :)
Nice pic. We have not had as many birds this year as normal for some reason. I always keep bags of seed for them and keep the feeders full. Haven't had to fill them up much though. I miss them.

Hi Deb, and thank you. We don't have very exciting birds here, but I do love having them around. A great way to get rid of our scraps and they repay us by keeping the bug population down, won't complain at that.
